About
Sreejesh PR is the goalkeeper and captain of the Indian men's hockey team. Arguably one of the finest goalkeepers in the world today, he has grown in stature and is considered by many as one of the world's best in the modern era.
Renowned for his lightning-fast glove skills, the reliable goalkeeper is commonly referred to as the 'Wall of Indian Hockey'. He began his journey towards stardom with a string of brilliant performances in the 2008 Junior men's Asia Cup to be adjudged as the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
He went from strength to strength and played an influential role in many of India's famous wins over the years. His inspired performance during the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon. He played a key role in India's gold medal-winning campaign to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics where he captained the team.
